Goldilocks
Liberta Theatre
Puppet performance for children with music and songs
An original adaptation of the well-known story by K. J. Erben "The Golden-Haired Girl."
Sunday, April 27, 10:30am
Stodolio
Two castle cooks "prepare" a fairy tale about clever Jiřík, talking animals, and the golden-haired maiden. The acting alternates between live performance and classic puppet play. Children's imagination is sparked by the unconventional use of kitchen utensils: why can't wooden spoons be horses and a tea strainer be a fish? Our characters understand animals. And that is what our fairy tale is about – mutual understanding.
Performed and sung by: Anežka Hessová and Ivana Hessová
Puppets and set design: Jana Paulová
MgA. Ivana Hessová – a graduate of DAMU, specializing in puppetry. She is involved in theatre, dance, and educational activities (she has worked, among others, at the Strašnice Theatre in Prague, at the Archa Theatre in Prague, and at the Montreurs d’Images Theatre in Geneva).
